10 Theories on the HTGAWM Season 3 Finale *SPOILER ALERT*

Theories on the HTGAWM Season 3 finale

This post contains *SPOILERS* of HTGAWM Season 3

Today the final two episodes of How To Get Away With Murder season 3 will air and I am already super excited! To be honest, this season isn't as thrilling as the previous two but it is still very good. Throughout the first half of season three I had a lively discussion about who was under the sheet and when it finally was revealed I really couldn't believe it. I mean, my friend totally expected this and he was happy that it was Wes because he hates him but I was just like "Okay, how can this be? Is this for real???"
The second half of season three was about finding out who killed Wes and about how the police and the DA wants to take down Annalise. After watching last week's episode I still don't have any clue on who it could be. But I came up with several theories on who is responsible for this whole mess the Keating five (four...) and Annalise are in. To be honest, coming up with theories is even more fun than actually finding out about the truth haha.
Here are my theories (at least some of them, I come up with more and more new ones the closer we get to the season final)

  1. Wes isn't actually dead. I mean, he can't be, right? They can't just kill off the main character (even though a lot of people didn't like him).... Maybe it was his long lost twin brother or they somehow staged this whole thing....??? I'm kinda desperate haha

  2. It was Laurel. I mean, she doesn't really have a reason to kill Wes that we know of, but it would be a great plot twist...

  3. In the last episode Connor's behaviour was pretty suspicious, he didn't like Wes and nor does he like Annalise. But on the other hand, Connor isn't really the type to become a killer, he is too fragile... And disliking someone is no real reason to kill them, is it? We also saw him performing CPR on Wes, why would he do that if he was the killer?

  4. It could've been some sort of accident, like Connor accidentally killing Wes or something. But that doesn't fit into HTGAWM in my opinion... I mean, that would be a pretty boring plot twist. It has to be more than that, right?

  5. I think Frank and Annalise are pretty much innocent. At least of Wes' murder/death. But maybe one of them plotted something to blow up the house to cover something up.

  6. We also know that Bonnie can be a pretty ruthless killer. Maybe it was her as she tried to save Annalise from Wes telling everything to the police?

  7. A question I keep asking myself is why was there an explosion? I mean, are the explosion and Wes' death connected? Or are they two separate things that just happened to happen at the same place?

  8. Why were so many people at Annalise's house before or during the explosion? Why did Annalise ask Connor to stop by? Why was Laurel there? What about Wes? And Nate? WHAT WAS THIS ALL ABOUT?!

  9. How are the Mahoneys involved? They were mentioned quite often but only shown once or twice in season three, but they are a very powerful and influential family. Apparently, they also found out about Wes being the son of Wallace Mahoney. They have to be involved somehow, right?

  10. I just thought about this writing about the Mahoneys but they didn't say anything about the killer of Wallace Mahoney yet, did they? Everyone suspected Frank but he never confessed, did he? Maybe I just forgot but I'm pretty sure that's also a mystery that has to be solved yet. They tried framing his son but weren't able to properly investigate the real murderer....
Well, as you can see I have some theories but also a whole lot of questions I'm asking myself. I can't wait to find out about all this later, but I'm also kind of excited and nervous that the whole solving won't live up to my expectations haha.
Did you come up with any other theories? What do you think? Ughhhh I just need to know right now!!!

Bullet Journal Essentials

Bullet Journal Essentials

I absolutely love bullet journaling! It is so much fun and such a great way to stay creative. You can try out different kinds of hand lettering, different weekly layouts, use all the colours you love, and generally do whatever you like because it's your own piece of art. I got a Leuchtturm1917 notebook for Christmas and I couldn't wait to start. I already had some experience because I also used a bullet journal last year, so I made a plan of all the things I wanted to include. For example a lot of different lists, pages for uni stuff and of course the monthly and weekly logs. But this time I am not talking about what pages I'm including in my bullet journal but about the tools I'm using to write and draw into it.

Bullet Journal Essentials
To be honest my bullet journal kinda lacks colours but I am trying to use more colours to make it more beautiful. My favourite crayons are the Fantasia Colours from Aldi. They are  very cheap, one box includes 36 crayons and the colours are vibrant. I prefer them over all brand-crayons I've used so far!
Some other colourful pens I love to use are the Stabilo point 88 pens. I have a set of 20 colours and I mostly use them for my monthly habit tracker. But I also use them to beautify headlines or to highlight important things. The colours are also very vibrant but I've noticed that they easily fade if they are exposed to the sun/daylight. Boo!
The next pens I have only recently ordered thinking they are brush pens. Unfortunately they are simple felt tip pens. The Pentel Sign Pens are still very vibrant and pretty and you can also use them for handlettering if you practice a little bit. But the pack only included seven different colours which makes them kinda expensive for felt tip pens. But they are from Japan, so I guess it was still an okay price... sigh. (The pens I actually intended to buy were the Pentel Sign Touch pens, these are brush pens and apparently great for handlettering.)
The next ones are Staedtler pigment liners in different sizes. I got them because they have a wide range of different sizes which is very useful if you want to draw very thin lines or if you want to colour some bigger parts. They are also not as expensive as other brands and I like their kind of black better than the Stabilo point 88 one, it doesn't bleed out as much, it's also darker and less blueish.
My fountain pen is my favourite pen to use! It's so precise and the ink is beautiful. Unfortunately it's not waterproof so I can't draw over it with other pens. But I still use it for all the writing in my bullet journal. It doesn't bleed out and the black ink is really black. I love it so much!
Last but not least I also love to use washi tape! My collection of washi tapes is not that big yet but it's growing. I'm still not very sure how to use it properly though, haha! In other people's bullet journal it always looks so pretty but in mine it looks kinda weird in my opinion... Well, I'm working on it I guess. I have washi tape in pink, gold, pale blue and pink and I have autumn themed washi tape.

This is what I use in my bullet journal. I also use things as pencils to sketch out lettering, a ruler to draw straight lines, or a rubber to erase the pencil but I think these are kinda obvious and in the end you don't really see any of this in the "final" version.

So, what are your bullet journal essentials? Can you recommend any other pens?

To Be Read: 2017 Reading Challenge

2017 Reading Challenge

Goodreads Reading Challenge

As I might have already mentioned I am a user of Goodreads and in my opinion it is a great website. It allows you to find reviews about books, new books in general but it also lets you set yourself a goal of how many books you want to read in one year. Last year I set myself the goal to read 15 books in the Goodreads Reading Challenge. In the end I only read seven books, which made me feel kind of disappointed of myself, but at least I managed to reach my personal goal to read more books than the year before! So yay, at least I reached one goal!

I love reading, I love diving into new worlds, to be someone else, somewhere else. Another time, another country, maybe even another world. Unfortunately I am always too distracted to read. When I'm on the train and I'm listening to music, the music is too distracting. When I'm in bed at night I'm on my phone or I'm just too tired to read. I'm always making excuses and this is really annoying, because I obviously want to read more books but at the same time I am stopping myself from doing so. Ugh!

I usually set myself a goal of 15 books to read in one year because that's definitely an easy and achievable goal. But I never reached it so far. So this year, I thought if I set myself a somewhat higher goal I might be more determined to stick to it and as a result actually read more books. I'm not quite sure if this really helps but I truly hope so! So this year I want to read 25 books! This number isn't really that high I guess, but it sounds like A LOT. Oh dear, haha.

Popsugar Reading Challenge

Besides the Goodreads Reading Challenge I also really like the Popsugar Reading Challenge. It's different from the Goodreads one, since you don't set your goal yourself, you rather have to fulfil different reading tasks. It's definitely fun to see how the books you read fit into this challenge. They mix it up every year so it always gives you new ideas for books to look for.

Do you take part in any reading challenge this year, too?

15 New Year's Resolutions for 2017

2017 resolutions

Hello and happy (belated) New Year!

I hope you all had a great first week of 2017! Mine was kinda lazy and nothing special I guess. Lots and lots of sleeping haha.

I love New Year's Resolutions and I always come up with some (last year, the year before) but throughout last year I totally forgot about them and last week I looked at them again and found that I failed most of them. I want to try harder this year and actually stick to (most of) them!

This year, I also came up with more than usual because some are more specific than simply "lose weight" or "do sports". I hope that this way it will be easier to stay motivated and work hard. So here they are, my resolutions for 2017:

Read 20 books
Practice drawing every day
Apply for a design study programme
Watch (at least) one film per week
Watch (at least) 5 plays live on stage
Study more!
Get help, fight anxiety, get better
Eat more regularly and healthier
Get back into creative writing
Save 5€ per week
Be more grateful
Start learning a new language
Travel somewhere new
Apply for an apprenticeship
Stop being such a spoilt child

Do you have resolutions for 2017, too? Or do you think resolutions are stupid?
